Nestled right in the heart of Owaka, Catlins Retreat B & B is a gem perfect for exploring the stunning Catlins area. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from our hosts, Jill and her partner, made us feel right at home-a true testament to their hospitality, especially as we were celebrating our anniversary. Our spacious room was not only themed beautifully in purple but also incredibly comfortable, complete with a flat-screen TV, an electric kettle, and a delightful view of the courtyard, ideal for relaxing with a morning coffee. Each morning, we enjoyed a hearty continental breakfast that included plenty of fresh fruit and an exceptional cafetière coffee, fueling us up for our adventures. The proximity to restaurants in Owaka added to the ease of our stay, with lovely walks to dinner in the evenings-just perfect for us and our two furry companions! Catlins Retreat was a lovely escape, combining charm, comfort, and convenience that made for a memorable getaway. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a pet-friendly base in this picturesque region!
